Mornington Peninsula

We may not be the experts on the Mornington Peninsula, but luckily, a friend of a friend who’s a local has shared some great tips that we’re excited to pass along

  • Peninsula Hot Springs

If you're in the mood for a little pampering, the Peninsula Hot Springs is just a 20-minute drive from Lindenderry.

With thermal pools, saunas, cold plunge pools, hammam massage, and even ice caves—they have it all.

Check it out here: Peninsula Hot Springs.

  • Beaches

Mount Martha Beach - A long, protected beach with colourful beach boxes. It’s also the best area to see the scenic Pillars.

Safety Beach - Family friendly beach with calm, shallow waters. It also has nearby hiking trail for those looking to explore the area.

Dromana Beach - A popular spot to enjoy nature with grassy picnic areas and walking trails,.

Diamond Bay - 'A hidden gem with a decent surf break', away from the crowds.

  • Arthur's Seat Gondola

Experience views of the bay and its beautiful surroundings from the Arthur's Seat Gondola. The ride takes about 15 minutes each way.

  • Walks

Balcombe Estuary Boardwalk Circuit - An easy 2.5 km return walk.

Two Bays Walking Trail - The longest continuous walking track on the Mornington Peninsula, from Dromana on Port Phillip Bay to Bushrangers Bay near Cape Schanck. If the full 26km walk isn't for you, you can enjoy smaller segments.

Pulpit Rock - A 2.1-km loop trail near Cape Schanck. It takes about 37 minutes to complete. Apparently the stunning views make the drive well worth it.

...plus the many beautiful beach walks.
