All you need to know..

  • WHAT DOES "FORMAL" MEAN?

It’s a step between cocktail and black tie—similar to what you might wear to an evening event. Please keep in mind that the ceremony and pre-dinner drinks will take place outdoors before we head inside for the reception.

  • ARE CHILDREN WELCOME AT THE WEDDING?

Children are welcome to attend the ceremony.

For the reception, we prefer it to be an adults-only event, but we understand it may be difficult to make arrangements for your little ones. If that's the case, please reach out, and we'll do our best to accommodate them.

    BABYSITTING

The venue has provided the below recommendation for babysitting in the area. The company will need to be contacted directly:

Stephanie Tate @ Henrietta’s Help at home

    Ph: 9766 1099 or 0425 733 290 henrietta@henriettashelpathome.com.au

    www.henriettashelpathome.com.au

  • WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

Redhill: Many boutique hotels and holiday stays/Airbnbs. Just make sure you book early.

Mornington: The largest town in the area, with plenty of hotel options (approximately 25 minutes from the venue).

Safety Beach and Dromana: Two beachside towns closer to the venue (10 minutes away), offering some hotels and self-service accommodations.

    HOW SHOULD I GET THERE?

Plane, trains and automobiles - but mainly automobiles. We do recommend hiring a car for flexibility. Alternative options are listed on our ‘'When and Where’' page as well.

    WILL TRANSPORT BE PROVIDED?

A shuttle will be provided from various locations to and from the venue. Details are on the ‘When & Where’ and RSVP pages.

  • DO YOU HAVE A GIFT REGISTRY?

Your presence is the greatest gift, and we truly mean that! We’re honoured that you’ll be joining us to celebrate.

If you still wish to give something, a heartfelt message in the form of a card, haiku, post-it note, etc., would mean the world to us.

  • PHOTOS

During our ceremony, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos. Our photographer will be capturing all the special moments, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

CAN I SHARE PHOTOS OF THE BRIDE ON SOCIAL MEDIA BEFORE THE OFFICAL PHOTOS ARE RELEASED?

Only the ones she looks good in.

  • WHAT COLOURS ARE THE BRIDESMAIDS WEARING?

Our bridesmaids will be wearing a combination of neutral earthy tones (light browns, greens, champagnes, etc.).

It’s a mix of shades, so there’s no need to worry about matching their colours.

However, to avoid any confusion, Roland has kindly requested that ladies refrain from wearing white.

    WHY LINDENDERRY?

Lindenderry ticked the most boxes in our comprehensive matrix of wedding venue desires.

Red Hill is also a beautiful midpoint between Launceston and Kalgoorlie (well, more like 30/70) and the perfect place to create new memories—especially since it’s where Alex was unfairly defeated by the maid of honour in the under-14s finals.
